The Happy Learning Centre Philosophy

Learning is a life- long skill and we believe the best way to learn is through meaningful, fun experiences with mistakes being encouraged and embraced. At the Happy learning Centre we want to develop a growth mindset where learning is collaborative, continuous and challenging. Learning needs to be relevant and engaging. We take the time to personalise the learning programme for every child and support them to become life long, happy learners. We want the next generation to be skilled, confident and adaptable individuals who are able to take calculated risks and most importantly fulfil their potential.

Who we are…

We are a team of experienced and qualified teachers who have worked in various leadership roles both in schools and within the charity sector. As lead tutor I am passionate about making education relevant and engaging with the child’s individual needs at the centre of our curriculum design. I hold the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination and have enjoyed designing and delivering a range of interventions, including SATs boosters, Reading, Maths and Writing programs all designed to address specific barriers to learning and support children to work towards Age Related Expectations.

I strongly believe that every child’s unique personality and individual interests should be used to make learning fun, relevant and stress free.

How it works…

We believe in a personalised approach and will develop a learning program based around your child’s preferred learning style, build on their strengths and target areas for development. Learning should be fun and in our fully equipped classroom we will ensure sessions are interactive, engaging and meet the needs of every child. We offer 1:1 and small group sessions (max of 6) all with a personalised approach and individual education plan. The group sessions provide opportunities for children to embed the mastery curriculum through peer to peer learning whilst 1:1 sessions provide opportunities to work through individual conceptual misunderstandings.
